Rashed Rauf. Born on 1st January 1964 in Chanhara village of Patia police station, Chittagong. He grew up in the light and air of the village. That golden village is associated with his golden childhood and adolescence. His first newspaper article was published in 1980, when he was a class 11 student at Patia Government College. He chose journalism as his profession after doing honors in mathematics from Chittagong University in 1986 and Masters in 1987.
